The difference between nofollow and dofollow is that Dofollow sites are very useful for building quality links while nofollow is not so useful.

However, today, algorithm of building links may have changed.

I think Google requires natural back links which include almost all type of links like dofollow, nofollow, links from directories, links from discussion places etc.

Re: Nofollow vs Dofollow

I guess the point of eliminating is to encourage people to comment on his blog. The idea is that they are more likely to comment if they are rewarded with a link to your site. It can be good if you try to make your blog more popular or played.

Re: Nofollow vs Dofollow

NoFollow is an HTML attribute that you can assign to a hyperlink to instruct the search engine crawler that it should not acknowledge this link while assigning a rank to the rank which has been linked to.while “DoFollow” isn’t a real attribute. If a link does not have the “NoFollow” attribute, then it is considered to be a DoFollow link.I managed to get a dozen of “nofollow” links and looked if my website position had changed somehow in Google, MSN and Yahoo. I noticed NO changes.I came to the conclusion that the search engines behaved as so those links didn’t exist at all.

Re: Nofollow vs Dofollow

Nofollow is not followed by search engines while dofollow is followed by search engines and it is very helpful in increasing page rank of any website..

Re: Nofollow vs Dofollow

I made one of my blogs DoFollow awhile back and it did increase my spam comments. I would constantly get one liners that I could tell were nothing but spammers looking for a quick link. I ended up removing it after awhile since it required far too much time to wee out all the spam comments from the quality ones.

Re: Nofollow vs Dofollow

Hello Friends,

While adding a link to an anchor text, you have the option of either using a DoFollow link or a NoFollow link. Most webmasters know the different between the DoFollow and NoFollow links but there are still many that don't. To many, the difference is very insignificant while to others it is very important. So how are these two different types of links different? What's their importance to Search Engine Optimisation?

Thanks

Re: Nofollow vs Dofollow

Do follow links are beneficial for improving our website and PR SERP, but it does not mean it does not follow the link is useless, followed No links to generate traffic, but they are not useful to generate back links. We always try to return Web site links do not follow.
