Marketing strategy based on traffic analysis

When it comes to internet marketing, there are various types of advertising format available and thousands of websites are there which allow you to advertise in specific format. Furthermore websites like Google Adword, Yahoo Search Advertising and MSN ad center have their own network of websites which makes you enable of advertising on these sites as well.

This way there is a large no. Of resources you can use with basic set up to market your website but you must be careful choosing on the right platform.

So instead of choosing platform based on user review or feedback, you must choose one which brings you quality traffic. One website may prove to be poor platform may prove efficient one to you. So your advertising strategy solely specific to your business only.
So the need is to try resources on manual evaluation and traffic of its own and give a try. You can restrict the amount of money you spend on each resource.

After one time of trial out, you can use tools like Google analytic to analyze the traffic you get from each source. Make sure you have enabled features like eCommerce conversion and set up goals in analytic tool. You can analyze the metrics like Bounce rate, conversion rate, Goal completion rate, Avg time on site and total unique visits to check the quality of traffic sent by each source.

Based on analysis, you can eliminate the sources and keep the one which provide better traffic which helps in improving ROI of your website. You can repeat the same process for new website you find on the net.
