Re: Link Exchange

If they would allow you, why not. but one thing that I would advise is don't do it anymore. a link exhange is a SEO technique that you should not be considering any longer. There aren't really that much webmasters or site owners out there who would take time or even considering emails or any form of "contact back" to webmasters requesting a link exchange because:

1. Those practically begging for links would only have start up sites (no authority, no traffic)
2. link pages are usually like link farms (if filled with relevant sites it is overpopulated)

Just consider other link building techniques to get better worth for you rtime.

Re: Link Exchange

Change links with websites that will bring you website readers. Focused readers means readers and/or customers that will be considering your products. It might be a evaluation or link on your site, writing an post and publishing it on a post index, or even providing them goods/services that you can.

Re: Link Exchange

Link exchange generates many links pointing to your website, whenever a surfer clicks on one of those links, you've got a new targeted visitor!
at that point of view link exchange is better tο gain better page rank search engine positions

Re: Link Exchange

Hi Rob,

Rather then worrying about link exchanging I would be focusing more on building out back links. There are so many new and viable ways to get your link out in front of potential customers/visitors that link exchanges are not really necessary anymore. Spend a lot of time making sure your link is posted in the right places with the right content and everything else should start to fall into place. Also to answer your other question I think it is highly important to post your links in places that are related to you niche but you also need to have your links advertised and listed and the more common / general places people check out on the web on a daily basis.

Re: Link Exchange

A link exchange is a confederation of websites that operates similarly to a web ring. Webmasters register their web sites with a central organization, that runs the exchange, and in turn receive from the exchange HTML code which they insert into their web pages. In contrast to a web ring, where the HTML code simply comprises simple circular ring navigation hyperlinks, in a link exchange the HTML code causes the display of banner advertisements, for the sites of other members of the exchange, on the member web sites, and webmasters have to create such banner advertisements for their own web sites.

Re: Link Exchange

Link exchanges are simple. The abstraction does not have abundant of an underlying theory. It is absolutely what it sounds like. Websites exchange links with each other to generate traffic. One website owner may offer to advertise another company’s website through a logo, text, or banner hyperlink.

Link exchanges are simple. The concept doesn’t have much of an underlying theory. It’s exactly what it sounds like. Websites exchange links with each other to generate traffic. One website owner may offer to advertise another company’s website through a logo, text, or banner hyperlink. There are also web ring programs that promote websites and help developers exchange links for a fee. These methods will benefit both customers because it gives each website owner the ability to generate traffic in a rather passive manner.
