As per my SEO knowledge Press release is not so useful for linkbuilding. it's only for a promotion of our site or product or service

In SEO every quality link in your niche is useful. Press release is generally used for promotion of a site through updated news.

first and foremost, press releases were not meant for link building. we internet marketer/SEO don't USE IT FOR LINKS. Press release SEO benefits are only "bonuses" in some press release site. press release is made NOT for SEO but for launching to the world about new or updates with your products or services or new pages and content. The idea is to let people know about the news going on with your business.

Press release are worthy just for the publicity of the company/product by gathering massive traffic. otherwise it is not worthy for link building.

I think now the Press Releases are becoming an important aspect with Google places getting importance. Over all a good press release with original conet and not multiple submissions is being loved by Google! I have noticed a sudden growth in the PR sites that are getting launched daily. I think it is one of the mediums, that gives you good traffic, backlinks both!
