Doorway pages are web pages that are created for spamdexing, this is, for spamming the index of a search engine by inserting results for particular keywords/phrases with the intention of conveyance visitors to a different or unlike page that are not important for user.

I think the 1 and the most important factor is duplicate contents.
Duplicate contents can easy reduce your ranking.

I think gavin you are saying right thing. Duplicate content can really cause a big problem in link building.

I agree with last three points which can get you harm but above two points are not. Inefficient use of those two points can stop you in getting high rank but will not harm your existing ranking.

All point is right but in my duplicate content always effect on the burn web site ranking.

2. google webmasters guideline compliance
3. competitor factors
4. navigation
5. natural vs unnatural links
6. dofollow vs nofollow links
7. and many more....

Keyword stuffing,
Penalty site,
Casino g**e site.

the main thing is the absence of updating and spam content.
