Do you use free template?

I used a free template once, a long time ago, but I also customized it to my liking.
What kind of site do you need the template for ?

i have a plan to build a music site, about the music industry, and i want to sell my products, some free sources on the net, and some tips when joining "get paid to" online.

Web sites built/based on templates looks quite similar each to other. I do not trust such kind of sites.
May be better visit a few sites, the same kind like the one you want to create to get some ideas from there and of course, you shall put some fresh elements too.

In my opinion, It depends on what you want the site for that depends on how you should build it. If you are going to use a template, check out this first. We use them if we are only building an adsense or one or two page site

We use portions of the sites ie. the graphics sometime it is cheaper to buy a webpage then have a graphic developed

Never they are either too unprofessional of if they look professional like in Web Templates, Flash Templates, Website Templates Design - Template Monster then they are used too often

We will use them if a customer is looking for something fast and cheap, that is really up to them and the price that they are wanting to pay for their new site. I agree that the site at the above listed are used way to often if they are professional looking enough. If you can find clients that don't mind templates, then go for it. I would still recommend getting used to starting from scratch, you will create a better product for your client, and for your portfolio.

This very important question i like it . If you want use the free template many website are available on internet. They provide very good template which you can use for your own website. That all information are really good.

If you want to use any open source... You can use wordpress template. You can find lots of free theme on internet.
