What would be the effect (if there is) if you change the color of your sig? I saw some signatures that have different color on some forums.

In some forums where moderators and forum owners are strict, changing your sig to a very absurd color could mean you getting banned from the forum. If some forum allows it and you are able to make it attractive, people might notice it and a chance of getting a click from then increases and if it get's annoying, don't expect any traffic from it.
