It has been expected for some time. Google+ has started rolling out Business and Brand Pages, much like Facebook Pages.
Not only can they recommend you with a +1, or add you to a circle to listen long-term. They can actually spend time with your team, face-to-face-to-face. – says Google
This is one more opportunity for business owners and entrepreneurs to reach out to the people and potential customers. That it is on Google platform only makes it more lucrative. However, G+ is yet to achieve the status of Facebook. Also, you can start building your page right now.
In order to make finding Google+ Pages easier than ever, Google has added a direct connect element from Google Search. All you do is type a plus sign then the name of the business or brand. For example +Toyota, takes you straight to Toyota’s new Google+ Page.

Google + profiles has been approved only this week I think. Of course, this is good for businesses but I'm guessing that there will be a lot of people using it to spam. I hope that Google has made a lot of systems or algo to make sure that those spam profiles or those not using the services right be penalized or something.

I don't think that Google is really trying to focus so much on being Facebook's competitor as much as it's trying to expand their search engine domination. With Google adding the direct connect to it's search engines, it'll likely give Google that extra boost.

It is really a great move from Google. Now users can also see the Google business page activities(Not for all pages) in search engine result pages and can add those pages in their G+ circle.

Google+ Pages for Businesses avaible in this week. It needs time, needs users, but obviously facebooks is dominating this section of the social media. I read, that +1 will help rank higher your site in google.

In google Plus there's not a difference from profiles and pages. Right now, on google there isn't an option available to create pages (and i don't think it will be). But, you can create a new profile and use it as a page.People will follow and circle you but you won't. just go to settings and block people from emailing, huddle, and hangover.

Facebook is well populated with business page designing, It could be main important to publicity in social medias. Google Plus has also be more features to gain by the official business pages.

Definitely, I want to say that Business pages can be worth idea to promote them. There are some famous social networking sites which is incredibly helpful for our business to promote our brand or business page with others.
