Blog commenting is one of the best way to build back links. And it is helpful to get keyword ranking in search engine. If you are using KeywordLuv and CommentLuv then you can drive traffic from blog commenting. 🙂

as on my personal experience now a days its not been ideal & very effective. Blog moderators are very strict due to spamming so they are not approving the comments..so that's why i not prefer this task..

Backlinks is one of the major benefits of blog commenting. You should know that when you leave comments on Blogs and websites there is usually a box to put your web address, when you drop your blog address in this blog it will automatically be linked to your name thus making your name clickable.
After submitting your comment and your comment is approved, you will surely get a link juice from such blog especially if its a DOFOLLOW Blog.

people who probably fail in this technique probably are those who only aims to leave links in blogs. owners nowadays are very smart and they hate spam - who wouldn't anyways. but, there are still good blogs out there that if you have a ""real"" comment with a link that can be helpful and not for link drop, they would allow you to leave a blog. and, if you have a strong profile, they will allow your comments.

1. Use a real name when possible
2. Three sentence minimum
3. Actually read the post
4. Respond to other comments
5. Comment early

Blog commenting is one of the useful methods to get back links. Only do follow and top commentator widget follow blogs give profitable back links not the no follow blogs.

Comment on do follow CommentLuv or KeywordLuv blogs. This blogs approve comment quickly. Use blogengage.com for getting blogs to comment

yes, Blog commenting can be useful for creating a back links and also be helpful to rank your targeted keyword. but it's so much time consuming as in many blogs you have to wait for approval of your comment by blog moderator, so according me i think you don't have to spend more time on Blog commenting.
