Why Print Ads Don't Work??

1))Print Ads Have a Limited Readership:Print ads have an extremely limited readership, so the audience for your goods and services is reduced to whoever happens to subscribe or purchase a copy. If you sell a very specialized product and need to reach a niche audience, then a magazine that caters to that audience might be helpful.
2)Print Ads Are Expensive:Print ads have always been extremely expensive, but recent price hikes have made them increase almost 500% in the past few years. This means that the average entrepreneur can only afford a small ad--if he can afford one at all.
3)Prints Ads Have Tricky Lead Times:Depending upon which method you choose--newspaper or magazine--you could be dealing with extremely long lead times when it comes to running your advertisement. Magazines have a lead time of 3-6 months, which means valuable income-earning time that you must sacrifice before your ad even makes an appearance. Newspaper lead times are generally shorter, but if you are running a sale and your needs are very time-sensitive, a newspaper may not be a good option.
4)Print Ads Offer Varying Print Quality, Placement:Depending upon the method you choose, you would have very little control over the print quality of your ad or its placement. Newspapers are notorious for running poor-quality prints of advertisements, and good placement is extremely expensive.

I wouldn't say that they "Don't" work but I agree with the con's to using them. Thanks for the post.

Tips to make print ad workable:
1. Use A Headline
2. Use A Subhead
3. Your Body Copy
4. Provide A Visual
5. Include Instructions On How To Buy.
