The most valuable tool in the office!

(@Anonymous)
New Member

In relation to working smarter there is one powerful, often neglected tool - A whiteboard!

A whiteboard in the office is a great tool to keep you on track. Every day I walk into work, make myself a cup of tea and plan my day/tasks as points on the white board. Once a task is completed I rub it off and move on to the next task.

It is a very simple yet effective method to maximize your time management.

If you do not have a whiteboard in the office - GET ONE!

I agree about the whiteboard, it's a critical part of most office meetings when discussing ideas and brainstorming different tactics. A great type of whiteboard is a capture board. It is able to make an image file out of whatever is written on it, so you can easily transfer it to a computer or print it out.

Collaboration software is the best tool in the office.

One increasingly popular way to cut costs is the virtual office. Employees working in the office can cost two to five times their actual salary. You pay for space and all the ancillary utility and maintenance costs, furniture, equipment, telephones, contents and liability insurance, and so on. Even more if you own the building.
