Hey guys,
I'm new to the consulting field but I have read a few books and a couple recommend the ACL (American Consultant's League). Have any of you ever become members? If so, is it worth the money or is it a scam? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't have a lot of money but I sure would like to make some so the $349 yearly fee is doable if it's actually going to work but could be quite devistating if it turns out to be a scam. Thanks

The American Consultants League has closed. It was founded by Hubert Bermont after he wrote a book on consulting in 1978. It had courses and certifications. It looks like Bob Bly now has rights to sell one of their old courses. We'll be launching in 2010 and offering a free trial membership with various resources for consultants.
