Hi guys

I am looking for women’s suit manufacturers for a start-up e-website and banging my head against a brick wall, People are saying China/Asia require minimum 1000 pieces for a decent price. Whereas buying closer to home means less margin but smaller orders. Which is the best way with today’s high cotton prices and increase in logistic costs? Is it still cheaper to go to Asia?

Re: clothing business

Check out a site like Alibaba - when I searched womens suits there were over 3,500 manufacture matches and some with order quantities as low as 10 pieces.

Also New York and Los Angeles fashion/clothing districts are two other great places to find and make contacts in the clothing industry.

Re: clothing business

There are indeed a lot of cheap and good clothes that you can use as business in different countries in Asia. If you are going to consider taking a thousand clothes from anywhere, make sure that you have a market for it. It is going to be difficult to be stuck with tons of clothes without any buyers for it.

Re: clothing business

I just went through your post. I suggest yo go for asian wholesale sites for clothes and buy from there then resell . Because China has cheap goods, though sometimes low quality ,if you choose carefully there are sometimes really nice quality and low price. you will make more profit by ding so.Most importantly it is easy ,simple. online buy online ,that's it!

Re: clothing business

Although most people consider clothing to be an optional expense when figuring their monthly budget, the reality is that people need clothes. Since clothing is required, it can be a very enticing idea, for those that wish to work for themselves
