Why is making a business plan so important ?

Business plan is an outline of what kind of business you want to create and how you plan to create it. It doesn't have to be really complicated, it should rather be clear and easy to understand. A typical business plan would consist of a basic skeleton that could be used as the outline to any other type of plan, for example:
1. A summary of your potential business
2. Your services or products.
3. Analysis of the potential market.
4. A summary of your strategy and it's implementation.
5. Management summary.
6. Financial Plan.

It depends on the business or venture. But, in short yes, planning will usually make a big difference. Creating a business plan is a very key part of keeping your imagination in check, and a good business plan will take a few weeks to prepare after all the research is done.

When ever we will start business so first of all planning is most important thing, business plan should be a living road map to success, not just a one time document. A business plan is often prepared when,
1. Starting a new organization, business venture

Business plans also target changes in perception and branding by the customer, client, tax-payer. When managing a business, a business plan, or B-Plan, is often confused with the term Marketing Plan.

I just think we should follow all below given tips to start a new business:
1) Do what you love.
2) Start your business while you're still employed.
3) Don't do it alone.
4) Write a business plan.
5) Do the research
6) Get professional help
7) Be professional from the get-go.
8) Get the legal and tax issues right the first time
