Re: What is Outsourcing?

Hello Friends.........

Outsourcing refers to a company that contracts with another company to provide services that might otherwise be performed by in-house employees. Many large companies now outsource jobs such as call center services, email services and payroll.

Thanks

Re: What is Outsourcing?

Outsourcing also allows companies to focus on other business issues while having the details taken care of by outside experts. This means that a large amount of resources and attention, which might fall on the shoulders of management professionals, can be used for more important, broader issues within the company. The specialized company that handles the outsourced work is often streamlined, and often has world-class capabilities and access to new technology that a company couldn't afford to buy on their own. Plus, if a company is looking to expand, outsourcing is a cost-effective way to start building foundations in other countries.

Outsourcing is to obtain goods or a service from an outside supplier, esp. in place of an internal source.

Re: What is Outsourcing?

Be aware that outsourcing can bring negative effects.

Generally these outsourcing companies handle many companies. This means they were not be as personable or knowledgeable. Also the general census is that outsourced customer service is lower quality and annoying. I am not saying that personally but people do not like to talk to people from India. Hard to understand and generally not easy to talk with. Isn't it capital one that has a whole commercial market around this?

Saves you money, but lowers your customer experience. I personally will keep my customer service team and not outsource to save a few bucks.

Outsourcing has made a contract with another company or person to perform a specific task. Almost every organization outsources in some way. In general, the function is outsourced is considered non-core activities. insurance company, for example, may outsource the operations of the landscape and cleaning companies that specialize in these forms, they do not cover insurance, or a strategic business.
