i think oyu can go fot it.... good luck.. many people dont know about that Virtual Office Concept
There are 4 types of virtual office services:
1.physical office space
2. mail forwarding
3.telephone center
4.support staff
These options have different costs and it is important to select a virtual office services company with care..... These services must be consistently available and provide a high level of service….Physical office space in a corporate neighborhood is an important first step for a freelance or home based business..... Many start-up companies use shared office space to meet with clients, hold interviews for telecommuting positions, and have video conferencing calls.... All these items require a professional space with certain level of amenities and services.....

Re: Has any one used a Virtual Office Serivce?

It's a relatively new industy. Basically, if you need a 'base' in a particular city where you do business, you have two choices, an office with office space that you pay for, or a virtual office, which is shared by other companies. But the receptionist is going to say your company name when she / he picks up the phone.

The company I work for has 130 locations in 80 cities (7 states). You could tell your customers that you had that many locations, and you'd be right.

The thing is that a virtual office is orders of magnitude cheaper than a real office, and much, much less responsibility. We have an FAQ (FAQ-ish) if you want to check it out. I have hyperlinked it here.

Feel free to PM me if you have more questions.

Re: Has any one used a Virtual Office Serivce?

I saw an article in Reader's Digest this month that mentioned a career called "Virtual Assistant". I never knew this job exsisted but had always wished it did. I'm a stay-at-home-mom who knows my way around computers/internet very well. I love to research and I love to translate (English to Spanish and vice versa.) I don't have a college education though. Is this line of work very competitive? Would I be able to find a position or do these types of jobs go mainly to corporate women who decide to work from home?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Has any one used a Virtual Office Serivce?

Hi

Virtual offices can be used by anyone. Quite a few companies can not afford costly office spaces. Virtual offices is the ideal solution for them. A virtual office saves much needed capital required for an office. With latest technology available, you can conduct your business almost from everywhere. Only thing you need is an up market business address, to which your clients can relate. In this case, you have two options-either, you can rent a post office box or you can use a commercial mail receiving agency service that gives you a corporate sounding address and suite number. That’s why, most of the virtual offices are located in major cities, due to their prestigious business addresses.

Virtual offices give you flexibility. If you are in an airport, you have access to your business through virtual offices, if you are at home, your office moves there. This flexibility gives you access to your business at all the times. This is not possible in a conventional offices. For a conference or meeting, you can rent conference rooms in ‘executive office suites’. Now you can compare the cost of renting an office suite versus leasing an office for a longer period. The advantages of virtual offices are more obvious.

Thanks

Re: Has any one used a Virtual Office Serivce?

Hello
A virtual office for your home business is a creative way to let employees focus on their work instead of wasting their time and energy commuting. Going virtual also can help your company save cash, increase profits, and expand its reach.

Here are 10 tips for building a productive off-site team.

1. Find the right phone system. Your phone system must be able to link and support all your remote locations in order to project the image of a single company.
2. Build an intranet. Because your employees don't all go to work at a single location, you need to foster communication and instill in them the sense that they're still part of a team. An intranet can help do both. It can connect your virtual team and make it easier to share information.
3. Hold off-site meetings as needed. There are a number of companies and hotels that provide high-end business suites and services to mobile executives. There’s also the local chain coffee shop, which may offer Wi-Fi access and enough space for you to hold informal meetings.
4. Plan team-building events. In-person events are essential to remind your employees that they're not alone. These events can be as simple as a lunch at your house or as involved as a professionally administered training program.
5. Hire a virtual secretary. A virtual secretary is someone — or a team of someones — who work off-site but who are hooked into your phone system, giving the impression that they are answering calls on-site. Virtual secretaries can answer phones, set up appointments, and take messages around the clock, if necessary.

Re: Has any one used a Virtual Office Serivce?

Hi guys

One of the more common aspects of the virtual office is that you will get a virtual office service that is called the virtual office assistant, and these are the for hire people that are attached to your account and help you to manage all the ins and outs of your everyday business dealings. Having one is quite important because you will not be around for most of the time, and what is going to happen is that more and more people are going to want this service as part of the package. With a virtual assistant, most of your elements would be taken care of, and what you need to do is to be able to know what exactly a VA is, what functions they can do for you and how to find the best ones. For one thing, the VA is most beneficial to both the company that is doing the virtual office solution, as well as the company using it.

Thanks
