You may also want to think about becoming listed on all the online directories like Yellow Pages, Bing Local, Google Places, Yelp etc. To promote your small business you may also want to create a coupon campaign and work on building out your social media presence.

If you are selling products like gadgets I'd say go to ebay or craigslist but if you are selling other forms of products or services such as real estate properties or real estate services, you probably might want to use sites that are more targeted to the are you are marketing. say google merchant center, google maps, a popular website in your local area. etc.
