How To Increase Online Sales??

Hello Friends

It is a known fact that people buy from people. Often when you go to buy something on the high street, it is the rapport or knowledge the salesman provides that makes you buy from that person. If you build up a relationship of any sort with a provider of any product, you tend to go back and recommend them to others - loyalty.Given this, it is strange that the online sales world of e-commerce tends to be anonymous - a faceless web shop and e-commerce software to fill in gives no sense of the site or the people behind it.If you are a small site selling a product online, then try the personal approach - but your photo prominently on the site with details of your experience, so that the end user is re-assured that the site is by a 'real' person, and so that they know who they will be buying from.A simple step, but it can be extremely effective.

Have a nice day

Yes, I totally agree with u casper, most of the time we feel we are buying from some anonymous, it is always nice to know from whom we are buying. Even a photo woud mean a lot, maybe they can also add a few photos of their loyal customers and a few experience of buying from the particular site from these customers, which would really be an assurance to others. Just my opinion!!

Re: How To Increase Online Sales??

Hello
More people will buy from you when they feel you are talking directly to them about their individual needs. Develop customized versions of your sales message to cater to the specific interests of prospects in each market you target. Use the language and style of prospects in each market to communicate your message to them.
It's easy to use different versions of your sales message when you control who gets it. But how can you personalize your web site to appeal to prospects in one market without losing your appeal to other prospects visiting your site?
One way is to create special web pages for prospects in each market you target. Customize the content of each to appeal to prospects in that group. Then add a link to each of these special pages on your home page.

Re: How To Increase Online Sales??

I highly agree, in today's highly anonymous internet world many people are forgetting that the very origin of business is personal. Therefore, a picture of the seller or even company location can provide much more credibility and can even be the "last chance" in deciding whether the buyer will buy or not. A picture also shows that the seller and/or merchant has nothing to hide and thus this gives out more trust to the buyer and onlookers who may be also interested. Thanks for the post, it really put things in perspective for many marketers.
