I have started a human sourcing comapany, which specializes in recruitment and selection of employees for a given vacancy of a company. So far we have only sourced candidates for first level companyor newly formed companies.
We have decided to source BPOs,call centres and software companies. Can anyone suggest ways on how to approach a company and make it as our permenant client?

Re: how to approach a client?

I would argue that there is no difference between staffing newly formed companies as it is well established companies - most companies are typically only looking for a few people. You still have to go through the same process of finding, interviewing and then hiring them. The biggest challenge that you will face is do you have the resources to quickly find a large number of employees which is more difficult for a smaller firm.

Have you tried sending a greeting card? I use Send Out Cards to introduce myself to prospects. I choose from thousands of greeting cards, personalize it and then the company sends out a real card in the mail. All this in under 5 minutes and for under 1 dollar. We have gotten many clients this way. If you pm me I can show you how this can work.

I would get some experience in a niche, positions that other companies may not be necessarily focusing on. Then you can approach these companies with a very focused value proposition that will be different than anyone elses.

I would focus on a niche like the other post suggested and then I would build a whole marketing campaign around it with a dedicated website. I would also have an online job posting website i.e. mini monster.com to target the niche for resumes and prospective employers. I would also begin to develop relationships with the firms and their suppliers.

Re: how to approach a client?

there are many ways to market your company when you are first getting started. you can try sending out marketing materials such as postcards, business letters or brochures. You can also make up magnets, pens or cups with your company name and logo and go to different companies and drop off that with an information packet. you can also try networking with others at your local chamber of commerce. hope that helps!
