Re: online payment?

You will always need to pay someone to process payments, whether as a monthly subscriptions or a percentage of every transaction.

Here are some uk based payment processors:

Re: online payment?

Thanks for asking your question,

I use a PayPal account for receiving
money.

(for example if you click on the
Banner-link on my HomeBusiness Blogspot (directly under
the orange 'current posts'
divider) and
make a purchase, I will directly receive a
commission on my PayPal from that Affiliate.)

Personally I don't really like to figure out how
all those online payments works.

So what I have done is to have my publishing on demand company handle
online payments, credit card processing or whatever....,
and when those payments reach a certain level
I receive the money on my PayPal account from them.

You can see for your self at the Storefront
I have that you can find by clicking at the
book cover you can find at my Main Blogspot

You can check out a Preview of the little ebook
or there in the Storefront you can also simply buy the little ebook and
receive the ebook and also automatically a 'Thank you for buying note',
Feel free to check out how it all works
by clicking the 'Add to Cart'-button 🙂

All the Best,
To your Happy - Small Business - Inspiration,
HP

Re: online payment?

Usually, if you want to use a checkout cart payment option, you first sign up for an account with the payment provider. When signing up you will be asked to enter personal confidential information such as your credit card or bank account number and the payment provider will store that information for you. (Because you’re giving them sensitive information, it’s important to make sure you are dealing with a very reputable checkout cart provider. When you go shopping online you’ll see your payment provider’s logo on the cart or payment page at the authorized web site. When you select the payment option, you’ll be directed to a page hosted by your payment provider where you can login and verify your shipping and payment information. In some cases you’ll be redirected back to the retailer’s web site, in others you’ll stay at the payment provider’s until you complete your order. Either way, you finalize your order and it gets shipped to you.

Have a nice day

Re: online payment?

Hello friends

Virtualpayonline, affiliated with CreditCard Transactions, Inc. (CCT), is a trusted and secure online payment gateway. It also provides online services like merchant accounts, free shopping cart and simple order form creation. However, when it comes to electronic transfer of funds through the gateway software, use of different debit and credit cards and the internet banking system comes into operation.
In order to develop your business, you need to let people access your products and services or give them more information. These days any merchandise (product or service) is made available online. As such, the online payment processing option you generally offer invariably involves credit cards, electronic funds transfer or payments through electronic check. Unless you provide the facility to accept payments through credit cards, your business may take a hit that is not desirable.
Acquire a merchant account with us and secure your online payment process:
Registering with Vitualpayonline, a CCT online gateway, makes you eligible for the benefit of all these services at very reasonable prices. You can immediately start to accept payments securely made through a credit card merchant account (CCMA). You can also see the demonstration of the payment processing through either credit cards or checks via mail, telephone or fax online on the “virtual terminal” in this website.

Thanks for sharing with us

Just a bit curious to know
(1) how does this online transactions work in shopping cart site
(2) credit card, cheques, other gateways
(3) do we need to register with someone? or some company?
(4) is it free

can anyone help me with this regards.
Thanks.

I recommend to use PayPal. There's a lot of great features on there that you can customize for your specific needs. Also, not only can you use a shopping cart directly on your webpage, but you can also do invoices. I would visit their website and browse around so you can see for yourself.

Re: online payment?

Paypal is definitely worth. Most business people on the internet use it for its simplicity and security. I would definitely give away a percent of my sale for added security. Also you can integrate paypal with your bank account, so you can inject funds from paypal directly to your bank.

Hope this helps

Re: online payment?

Getting a merchant account will let you accept credit cards. They all take a percentage of the transaction as a way for them to make money.

Otherwise, PayPal is a good way to get started doing online business, like everyone here has said.
